Decided that the fuzzy head feeling from it might not be worth the benefit. I will go off for a few weeks and see if it was making a big emough difference in my pain in hands to warrant going back on.

I participated in one of the drug studies for cymbalta through UCLA. I knew within 3 days that I was on the drug and not the placebo. The dosage was increased after 6 months on the study and I have continued with that dosage.

Cymbalta: The nausea it causes isn't worth it, I know I can take Wellbutrin, Lexapro, without the side effects. I always have underlying anxiety. But the doctor that was assigned to tell me his plan for me or listen, he has added to my anxiety. This is not good with everything else. I can see trying to heal my digestive system but I can't eat hardly anything anyway. So I'm trying to find things that I can eat.

Was prescribed for my general pain, in hopes that it would help my CRPS. Undoubtedly, this drug has major positive & negative effects on me. I have seen major improvements in my CRPS (pain, hypersensitivity, swelling, & dusky discoloration of right foot). However, it has negatively effected my sleep in a major way. Since beginning the drug, I have yet to sleep the whole night through. I average 4-5 hours of sleep per night.

Have only taken for a couple of weeks, and have seen tremendous positive improvements with my CRPS symptoms and neurologic pain. However, is disrupting my sleep regularly.

It doubles as a very good antidepressant and helps with fibromyalgia also. I highly recommend it as an antidepressant, I don't know how well it is helping my fibro pain.
