If you have severe congestion in sinuses due to allergies, do not take this drug. Because of drug interactions between Cymbalta and any decongestant are negative, I went without much aid for my sinuses for over a month and ended up with a severe sinus infection which caused the 4th severe flare up in 6 months. Also, the only safe OTC pain medication I knew of was Tylenol...4000-6000mg a day during the Cymbalta phase and my pain was the worst I have felt it in years. Needless to say...I WAS and AM DONE with CYMBALTA! I am also shying away from any of these new drugs the docs want to prescribe. I just don't trust them right now.

I only get migraines from Cymbalta when I do not take it on time, so as long as you take it on time you should be fine. I've tried other medications for fibromyalgia pain & this one works the best with the least side effects.

this med definitely helped my mood, but i had absolutely no libido, not ok when im engaged to be married in a year (not that thats ever "ok") also the side effects were so sever, with no warning from my dr, i couldn't even function. please take into consideration that even if this med works for you, the side effects when going off can be extremely sever.

Pay very close attention to you body AND mind when taking this medicine. Neither my family or I realized exactly how bad it got until it was almost too late. I was not myself for an unknown amount of time and in the end came extremely close to suicide. I was literally one step away from ending it all leaving my wife a widow and my children fatherless.
