I was having 4 treatments per week and things were going well. Within a month of dropping to twice weekly, I was almost as bad as when I started. Went back up to 4x/week, and showing positive results again.

Advice & Tips
Treatment is somewhat of a burden because I live 40 minutes away from where I have to go 4 mornings a week, and the treatment currently only lasts 20 seconds.

Advice & Tips
The impact on my life was enormously positive. This was before I discovered that my Vitamin D deficiency was the root cause for my general condition. Seasonal Affective Disorder was just the most severe part of my overall depression with anxiety. Keeping a regular sleep cycle is, I believe, essential for treating depression, and light therapy is quite effective for this. I have come to know that sleeping late is a disaster with depression, and light therapy (including dawn simulation) is crucial especially in the Winter if you live in a Northern latitude. Cost is just the one-time purchase of the full-spectrum (or blue light) light box and the dawn simulator. I have one of these for when I travel http://www.consumer.philips.com/c/light-therapy/hf3332_60/prd/us/
