I do my shots in the morning. I have found that the site reaction is very little, I sleep better at nite. Just easier to manage.

Advice & Tips
Looking back over the last year I have had some ups and downs but over all I feel very lucky to have started treatment so quickly. I feel better everyday and if I have to deal with minor dizzy spells from time to time, so be it. I hope next year when I update my profile and can report even more progress.

You don't kmow how muh the medacation is working untill they just pull it away from you real fast. Now that I am not on it I noticed I am real tired but can't sleep that is no fun to live with, my mood is not good I want to cry or treat people nasty for no reason, and I never had a hard time taking the medication if you set reminder's and you do it at night do you don't notice the flu feeling.

Advice & Tips
I took REBIF for 4.5 years. I found that a T, Th, and S regimen worked best, allowing a day yo regroup for the work week. I have found that my fatigue and depression increased on the medication. After more MRI changes, me neuro is now switching me to Tysabri.

Advice & Tips
My initial use of Rebif was a T-TH-S regimen. I found that I had extreme fatigue each Monday morning while adhering to that schedule. I switched to M-W-F shots, early in the evening, and found that using the week-end to "recover" from the injections allowed me to feel much better on Monday mornings. I added Amantadine (200 mg) daily, and with the combination of the two, feel that the overall changes have helped significantly. Tylenol-Extra Strength in the evenings seems to help battle the side effects from the shots.

Advice & Tips
I'm still pleased with how well Rebif has and continues to work for me (zero new lesions - for 7 years now)!! I'm also reporting the true cost of this medication instead of my out of pocket cost, since I only have copays for the month of January each year, after which I pay zero copays for the rest of the year (because my Medicare extra- help is the full not partial low-income-subsidy). If your state allows it, you can deduct the cost of your health insurance (excluding your drug coverage cost) from your income. This is called the Medicare Savings Program aka Medicaid-Buy-In. You must be able to lower your income to 135% of the federal poverty level, in order to use this program. Then your state pays your Medicare Part B monthly premium and CMS deems you a dual eligible for Medicare Part D benefits for the rest of that year. You must apply for this (Extra-Help) through your county's Medicaid office, but you cannot be receiving Medicaid.

Advice & Tips
The slight increase in my blood pressure is a very tiny cost, compared too finally having a clear MRI (my 7th imaging session). This was my first MRI that showed NO MS progression, no new enhancing lesions and no increased cortical atrophy. The cervical scan was also clear of new activity and most of my recently acquired new spinal symptoms also cleared up.

I started Rebif during a severe MS attack, to date that was my quickest resolving attack, the L'hermitte's sign totally disappeared, and it has not returned--almost three years now.

Advice & Tips
I do my shots Sun, Tues, Thurs. After the first 6 months or so I had no more reactions at all. I can do the shot and then do whatever I had planned. I find that doing the shot freehand is much easier after the initial shock of actually sticking the needle in goes by. Now it is just something I do.
