increased mental alertness, less fatigue than normal, slight decline in fvc [2%]. initial effects similar to too much caffeine but only lasts 48hrs. currently on 10mg in am, 20mg in pm with no effect on sleeping on cpap - actually, sleeping better.
dietary change around the same time to increase protein intake via drink supplements and eating more. much less fatigue but still in a chair most of the time. can still just get up and walk flat and level with a stick a little way - surprised because last week i thought it was all over for walking. fascics still there but not so noticeable.

non pbs script is $103 per 28 tabs of 20mg. will take 10mg for 1 week and 20mg thereafter. local gp has offered to document condition changes for the record. will do bloods early dec 2010 as a baseline.
this is the start evaluation, and will continue regularly - each week at least.
