Advice & Tips
My gastroentrologist advised that I stop taking Buspar (buspirone) and prescribed 5mg valium 3x day instead. I'm assuming that this is better for my gastric problems. My psychiatrist said this is ok, as long as I quit taking the Buspar, and that HE would NOT prescribe valium for me, but if the other Dr was willing to, it was ok with him. It's rather confusing, but I've adjusted ok, and take about 1/2 of the vallium prescribed so I don't spend all my time asleep!!
