The and progesterone were prescribed for me for both heaving bleeding for weeks on end and for possible control of migraines and headaches that would last for weeks. I was prescribed this with progesterone as it is safer (according to DR.) to take estrogen with progesterone. Treatments has been working. I haven't had any bleeding or spotting in many months and almost no migraines and if so, minor. I want to see if I can stop taking these meds now with the permission of my Doctors.

I don't really know if it is the increase in dosage or the clonidine that is helping, I started both at close to the same time. But the awful sweating is much more under control.

I don't notice anything when I take this medication. I have no idea if more would be better or if I don't need it at all. I am still hot all the time but am taking many meds and have fibromyalgia. It does nothing for libido or vaginal dryness.

I may decrease the dose due to my blood pressure has risen dramatically. My doctor has increased my blood pressure medicine and added a duiretic, however this is not helping.
I did not really feel any different if I took it or not. It is controversial now. Physicians are trying to determine if we should take it or not. The side effects can be harmful apparently. I would say you should discuss it with your doctor.
