Therapy has changed everything! With the right Doctor you can change your life in ways you never thought possible. I 'm so thankful to my doctor's. Never settle with someone unless you are 110% sure this is the person to go on your journey with.

Make sure you're working with someone you trust & who fully "gets you" it may even take a couple sessions to get to know if this is the right psych for you. Shop around to find someone who deals with your specific disorder. Don't be afraid to move on & try someone new; many therapists will charge on a sliding scale based on income so don't think you have to go bankrupt to get help. I think this should be at the top of everyone's Treatment plan.

Group therapy for fibro sufferers is wonderful. Watch which groups you work with. Many are just whining, poor is me cry sessions. I want a group with which I can explain what's going on, and get a reasonable plan of action.
