Advice & Tips
Excellent painkiller, well worth taking for severe pain. But be aware that if you take this over a long time period at a high dose, you cannot simply stop Tramadol - the withdrawal effects are nasty. But don't worry, you just have to taper-off your dose gradually over a numbers of weeks, and you will be okay.

$25-49 monthly

Advice & Tips
Good pain relief but coming off tramadol after extended period was more difficult than I imagined - withdrawal effects from going cold turkey included insomnia, restlessness. If you gradually decrease the dose though its not a major problem.

Advice & Tips
if you must take tramadol, please watch out for any GI distress. Tramadol Works for the neuropathic pain in feet; however, GI pain is a frequent side effect. I was hospitalized for 6 days with pancreatitis.

Advice & Tips
I started taking tramadol for a different illness. I found that It has a positive side effect, ENERGY!!! it is better at taking my pain away then vicodin. the only other med that works better is percocet. But it does cause stomach issues and severe constipation. If you dont consume enough water, you begin to have migrains. That normally does not become an issue if you make sure to take it only as prescribed.

Advice & Tips
do not take this medication with any anti-depressants other than welbutrin, they adversly affect each other and make people feel suicidal. docs missed this mentioned it to them and they had a lightbulb moment and took me off it completely after researching drug interactions themselves.

Advice & Tips
Works so-so for pain, but must take (2) 50 mg tablets to feel any benefit. The side effects are constipation and major dizziness, both of which are fairly severe. I would estimate only having to take (2) tablets for pain an average of maybe 5 times per month.
