Made me "loopy". Only took it one day and had such severe "odd" reaction to it that my doctor has put it on my "never to take" list of medications. After it wore off, I had the WORST headache ever!

Works so-so for pain, but must take (2) 50 mg tablets to feel any benefit. The side effects are constipation and major dizziness, both of which are fairly severe. I would estimate only having to take (2) tablets for pain an average of maybe 5 times per month.

Before I began taking Tramadol, I had a difficult time getting through the day. I would spend most of the day either in bed or in a recliner. I just didn't have the strenght to do anything...I even had difficulty holding up my head. Tramadol has improved that. Although I cannot work full time and still require daily naps, I can at least get out of bed and do a little during th day.
