- The only advice I have to offer is to those who have "silent" M.S. There are many times when I feel good and don't "look" handicapped. I've had people accuse me of using someone else's placard, etc. When that happens, I always thank them for being vigilent in looking out to make sure only those truly disabled are able to use the placard and I then show them my M.S. membership cards. Always works out.
