Discontinued before evaluating possible benefits for insomnia. Actually an antideppresent used in very small doses everynight reported in studies to help insomnia.

I don't think this works for me. Mypdoc had studies and stats that a very small dose of Doxepin at bedtime would cause less insomnia and help me sleep. Doesn't work for me yet.

It has not really been approved for insomnia per say. It is an anti-depressant.
I dropped back to my old dosage of 100 mg, no more chest pain, but I dont think this particular med is beneficial, I will talk will my Doc tomorrow/Monday and see if he wants to make any other changes
