I couldn't walk far, my heart was beating too rapidly, and I sometimes would pass out. I had no hand strength and could not pick up objects, or open doors or button clothes. I started sleeping almost continuously-could only stay awake for 5-10 minutes max. without having to rest or sleep. I can do all of those things now. I learned to give myself shots and it saved my life. I have nerve damage, but can still walk.
