I do at least one Sun Salutation every morning. I may do other stretches at other parts of the day.
When I played golf for the first time this season, my shots were consistently over the green! My upper body got stronger! Although my aim is probably affected by PD, I'm still enjoying the game. I don't play very often.

I do this for twenty minutes each & every morning when getting out of bed. It keeps my muscles from tightening up and also from cramping. It also enables me to use a wider range of movement.

This helps with muscle stiffness. I also do breathing exercises while doing this which seem to help me relax. When I first started it actually made things worse, but got much better with time.

I feel the stretching I do for my Achilles heel, calves and ankles can do harm. It is difficult to hold myself up but that in itself is a plus. I also have a trapezes ring above the chair we use to dress me and every time I sit in it I stretch my arms above my head using it. This seems to help my shoulders to keep them loose and moving.
