- i have avoided tolerance by taking it as infrequently as possible...to reduce my anxiety before work. i work 12-hour shifts three nights a week, and if i take it the night before my return to work and the morning of each work day, my anxiety usually stays under control, and in this way i only need to take 4 pills a week. on some especially bad weeks i take it more frequently. it does not make me drowsy or reduce my concentration level.
