this pill does make me quite sleepy. I learned on PLM that others here have experienced the same side effect, even more so at a lower dose and less so at a higher dose. My p-doc said I could take one or two pills at bedtime. Taking 1/2 a pill makes me MUCH sleepier than taking 1 or 2. I usually take 1, but sometimes just a half if I really want to get good sleep. I've yet to try taking 2, but perhaps I will to see if sleepiness-effect is less. The only bad thing about the sleepiness if it's hard to wake up in the morning, I just want to keep sleeping!

I took it as prescribed, but it had no effect on helping me sleep. The pain still kept waking me up every half hour or so to turn onto a new position, fall asleep, then wake up again & again to do the same til about 5 am when I finally fell asleep for about 3 hrs of solid sleep, only to wake up again in restless pain, and just give up for the day.

MISDIAGNOSED WITH TOURETTE SYNDROME BY AN RXHAPPY DOCTOR. This was prescribed when Trazodone gave me headaches so bad they made me vomit. When my Narcolepsy came about my doctor saw how tired I was, assumed my sleep wasn't restful, & put me on sleeping pills while refusing to give me a polysomnography/MSLT. Remeron was markedly better than Trazodone but for obvious reasons only made my fatigue worlds worse, although I did enjoy the lucid dreams. Also, take the spontaneous orgasm warning seriously.

This is a good treatment for insomnia, but the vivid dreams can be a problem. Always take it before bed time. Never take it before doing something like driving.

It was very effective in helping me sleep for pretty much the whole day and I was always sleeping that I didn't hurt myself. But when I did I didn't feel it.
