I take it because my grandmother died from multiple mini strokes and I do not want to go that way. I have no clue if it works but it is the least invasive of the medications I take so I take it.

During military service in '50's there was an escalated treatment schedule of doubling 2 aspirin several times in order to try to see difference in "arthritis"(?) - could it have been that the onset of PD was present but unrecognizable at that time? Perhaps options of possibilities related to causes or treatments should always be explored more before trial and error approaches are used?

It will now cure the condition of essential thrombocytosis, but, it is an effort to keep the platelets from multiplying too fast. Keeping free of stroke or heartattack is the goal.
