I just took 1 mg a day in morn, no dose at nite. noside effects. treatment kept me from smoking for like 7 cold mos in mpls.

If I take Chantix on an empty stomach, I've noticed some unpleasant nausea—no vomiting, though. It goes away if I eat something. Completely effective in terms of killing my cravings for nicotine, however.

Advice & Tips

Be prepared to quit cigarettes precisely on the schedule described in the dosing information--they begin to taste like, well, ass, shortly after you start the drug. Also, the medication is not covered by many insurance companies, although the cost is significantly less than a pack a day (in most states).
