after surgery seizure free prob 20 + years . then they came back no warning and seems worse mabee I just forgot how bad till they returned. Dr. says it's scar tissue that is problem now he says suprised that I got as long as I did. all of wich made it harder to agree to a second surgery

This was the SURGICAL treatment that for months I tested for and the surgery produced a seizure free person! I'm still taking Keppra, but I was also on Trileptal (and that caused me some major problems right after surgery; put me back into the hospital for another week). But I'm doing great!
My surgery was a must and I just accepted the differece in my appearance after, I have no control on the L side of my face from all the nerve damage during surgery but I'm happy to be alive. I had seizures but my Dr. has been controlling them with med. I was always a very independant personand I must say this changed my life.

Advice & Tips
Thanks to my surgery my seizures are under control with the medications I take. I haven't had a seizure for a long time. If I have a seizure now I now what the reason is (i.e. over stressed, change of lifestyle activities).
