Advice & Tips: I used to have really bad acid reflux for about two years. Then, when I was at The Menninger Clinic for nine weeks to basically retrieve my life from certain doom, I learned from one of the observant nurses there, Daniel, that I didn't take my pain meds with food. He asked me if I had acid reflux and I said, yes, quite badly. So from then on I have taken my vicodin and aleve with food and my acid reflux has released me from it's fiery grip.

Advice & Tips: It is not prescribed so I take it as needed which for the past 2 weeks has been daily. It can cause stomach problems.

Advice & Tips: Do not take it long term for anything. I mistakenly thought that I was doing myself a favor by not being on prescription medication. However, the naproxen caused a high ulcer in my stomach and I ended up having a vein burst and almost died. I never even knew I had an ulcer.

Advice & Tips: For the small price of a bottle of aleve I think its work taking before each injection and the day after also.. I have not had any flu like symptoms and hope that taking the 2 tablets are the reason why.

Advice & Tips: taking 2 aleve 2 hrs prior to injecting seems to ward off the ful like symptoms so far- we will see how it goes once i start the increased dosage of betaseron

Advice & Tips: I would take Naproxen at nighttime instead of Ibuprofen because I thought it would "last me through the night" since it had a 8-12hr efficacy. Seemed to work, since when I stopped taking it because of severe stomach pain, I noticed I was a LOT more stiff and sore in the morning!
