I use home ground (in a coffee grinder only used for herbs and nuts and seeds) flax seeds and put them in my cereal or on salads. I also usually eat a small piece of salmon once a week.
My naturopathic doctor told me to take this, 1tsp daily, work up to 1tbls daily. I have been hit and miss, because this supplement seems to effect the efficacy of my other nutritional supplemenation, Concentrace. If not for that fact, I'd be taking 1tspn daily as I understand the great health benefits of this oil. I've considered taking it as freshly crushed flax seed instead, due to the cancer protection benefits, however, I can't handle a lot of fiber, and I know the flax properties won't be as high. But I'm experimenting.
