Advice & Tips
I enjoyed swimming immensely and felt great every day I did it. I only stopped because it was becoming increasingly dangerous that I might fall while transporting myself and getting in and out of the locker room. It was getting harder to get dressed also.
I may try to swim shorter distances - Do what I can.

Advice & Tips
Whatever exercise you ENJOY, do that one, even if it means skipping some other exercise. If you enjoy your exercise you are much more likely to continue doing it. The real benefits from exercise accrue when you continue it for a very long time (many years) and when you do it very vigorously.
I believe swimming has moderated or minimized my symptoms over the last 12-15 years.
