Ugh, the cherry taste (it's a sublingual med) is horrendous, though I was told the original unflavored was even worse. Hard to imagine! =)
That said, it actually helps me sleep better than the trazadone because it doesn't seem to cause the bizarre lucid dreams that trazadone gives me.
Though the taste is horrible, this is honestly the best psychiatric medication I have ever taken. It has nearly eliminated all of my schizophrenic symptoms including visual and auditory hallucinations, paranoia, racing thoughts, and disorganized thoughts, speech and behavior - Just to name a few. I have never felt better since I've been on this, and it works quickly if you need an emergency dose - in about 10 minutes I can feel a difference. I highly suggest you try this medication. The side effects are nearly non-existent.
