Advice & Tips: The few side effects were very mild and only lasted for a short time after the titration kit was finished. At this time I am not aware of any side effects from this medication. It also has comparatively few drug interaction problems for an anticonvulsant. This is the medication that finally worked for me. If other medicinal treatments are not working for you, ask your doctor. An unexpected benefit seems to be increased... concentration? spatial ability? Something like that. I know it's weird, but when it was noticed, there were no other changes in my medications.

Advice & Tips: get off of PHENATOIN PRODUCTS they are, old school, 45 years old.way too many side effects 50/50 good and bad for you.side effects aren't worth long term use!but rather for immediate controll over tonic/clonic only in hospital,only in injectable form for emergency room to inject. also,the other use is upper heart chamber fluttering-see heart specialist,it controlls,slows and lowers 'fiburulation?'.

Advice & Tips: I manage my pill taking with a pill box which contains the appropriate dosage for each medicine in the morning and in the evening for each day. This cerifies and verifies I have taken the appropraite dosage of each medicine.

Advice & Tips: I use a daily, a.m. and p.m., pill box. I feel it has eliminated the auras which have preceeded seizures previously. The only issue I have encountered is forgetting to take my proper dosage due to another issue I have.

Advice & Tips: I enjoy running outside/inside. Outside I fear might injury another person because my equilibrium is a bit off. However, it should equal out with vimpat and lyrica. That is why my daily life is off.

Advice & Tips: Seems to decrease cognitive side effects from the Topamax, does not cause major drowsiness like other AEDs I have tried, only need to take once per day.

Advice & Tips: An unexpected benefit of Lamictal XR is that it has helped counteract some of the moodiness that the Keppra had induced in me. Lamictal XR has been an okay drug thus far, the main issues I have with it are major body aches and the occasional headache.

Advice & Tips: Be aware of all the side affects of a medication that your doctor wants you to take. Make sure you remind your doctor that you are allergic to certain medicines. Always make sure that your doctor listens to you, as mine did not and she did not want to change me back to my Depakote.
