I would be dead without this feeding tube to get my nutrients and drugs inside me. I can no longer eat, chew or swallow effectively. I also get a cool new body piercing!

The gastronomy tube allows me to regulate my weight. It is changed every 3 months--a painless procedure! I had a G/J tube for about 6 months. The J tube was a constant risk for clogging--one day for 9 hours. After that I had my caregiver put everything in the G part of tube. Then I changed to a plain G tube! There are people who need a G/J tube, for medical reasons! Iam not one of those people.
