Has helped my shaking hand but it seems to be giving me insomnia problems.

Shaking in hands has acted up in the past month but this may be a result of stress. I have gradually gone from 16 to 18 to 20mg. I do not want take too much medication if i can avoid it. The maximum dosage is 24 so I feel I am getting too clos to that number. What do I do after that? Another additional medication? I am getting very little sleep and am up about 4-5am (go to bed at about midnight). Despite the limited sleep I am very satisfied with how requip has reduced my shaky hand.
