it can be sometimes hard to remeber to take them, set a reminder and get a pill box to measure what you need to take ever day.

The few side effects were very mild and only lasted for a short time after the titration kit was finished. At this time I am not aware of any side effects from this medication. It also has comparatively few drug interaction problems for an anticonvulsant. This is the medication that finally worked for me. If other medicinal treatments are not working for you, ask your doctor. An unexpected benefit seems to be increased... concentration? spatial ability? Something like that. I know it's weird, but when it was noticed, there were no other changes in my medications.

Because I have never taken this medication by itself I have a hard time pin pointing its side effects. It does however remove that apathy side effect from the Abilify. It allows me to feel a little more natural in mood fluctuation. With that said I think I am still rapid cycling, but at much lower levels of intensity.

Lamotrigine helps to "settle things down". I was extremely rapid cycling and that stopped with this drug.

I was disappointed that I couldn't withstand the negative side effects because I know this drug is known to help several of my conditions. However, there was no way I could deal with the feeling that the insides of my arms were filled with ice and the numbness and tingling in my arms, hands, legs, and feet.
