Advice & Tips
I find this really helps with the muscle cramps, they are not so harsh any longer. I sleep better because I don't have the cramps at night.
Once went to see the NP for my neuro and she said "just drink the water like perrie" needless to say she's an IDIOT! There's not enough in that, even if you could consume enough that your body wouldn't filter out to get any benefit from! It's an expensive med but it's worth it.
I was recently had the opportunity to meet with one of the top ALS researchers in Canada and we discussed my severe cramping in pretty much all parts of my body, legs, toes, arms, hands fingers, etc. He asked if he could make a suggestion and of course I said yes, by all means. He mentioned quinine and i told him i had been taking 300mg for years. He said double it. And go see your doctor first before you do it. I mentioned my doc was leary about giving me 300 and he said it won't hurt you. so i started taking 600mg 5 days ago and for the FIRST TIME IN 8 YEARS NOT ONE CRAMP IN 5 DAYS!!!!! I can't thankthat doc enough and am blown away that i have so severely suffered from these cramps for so long, at all hours of the day, strangely and thank goodness, not at night. I am sooo happy to say the least.
