Advice & Tips: The one major downside of this drug is having to have your INR levels checked so frequently.

Advice & Tips: It is a very cumbersome drug to take as it requires frequent trips to the doctor for lab draws. Dosages are always changing, and sometimes they are so wacky that it's hard to keep track of what to take. (I'm taking 7.5mg, 10mg, 7.5mg, 10mg etc) I bruise a lot with it now.

Advice & Tips: I had two major episodes of massive spontanous bleeding in the past year. On both occassions loss half my blood volume in my abdomen, despite weekly self INR home monitoring. Still had a few episodes of clots breaking and lodging elsewhere, from older clots in my neck from years ago! Hence, I have a filter and asprin on board.

Advice & Tips: The dosage changes and I stop it for 7 days anytime I am having aa back proceedure, Then I return to it second day after proceedure. Have to ge4t levels to even out then all fine. If you start bruising you probhably are high - to thin. It does not bother me to take it at all.
