Betty is the individual therapist that I meet with every week to discuss my diary card from DBT. We review each and the skills I managed to use that day to keep me from hurting myself or going into an emotional outburst. She also monitors my alcohol consumption. The unexpected, but fabulous, positive benefit is that I get a hug after every session.
