Advice/Tips
I was on this for 2 years and didn't get any worse, so it did it's job. I am starting to worsen again and have decided the benefit no longer outweighs the risk of developing PML. IMO, I would be much worse if I had not taken it.
Specific side-effects
Bladder infection

Advice/Tips
Each of us is different, our MS is different, we all have different symptoms, and we are all in different stages of the disease...IF the damage done by prior relapses is not permanent, you might very well experience improvements in symptoms sometime around your fourth to sixth Tysabri infusion, but they can happen at any time. You might want to keep a journal of your daily activities and note when you notice any kind of improvement, whether slight or not. Most have reported any improvements in their symptoms as being gradual from the onset, but please remember to be patient because your MS symptoms did not happen overnight... give the medication a chance to limit the amount of damaging T cells from entering your CNS, and thereby giving your body a chance to try and heal itself.
