Advice & Tips: After reading much about a possible lyme disease causing neurological symptoms similar to ALS, I decided to try low-dose long-term antibiotic treatment for Lyme disease and malarian infection. After a year on the program I decided to stop. I found no benefit to the treatment and some of the side effects, especially in the eye, needed to be avoided. Some people may have a Lyme infection which mimics ALS but in my case that did not seem to be the case. It was worth a try.
