Advice & Tips: This medicine should definitely only be taken at night, as the CNS effects can be quite severe, especially when starting it for the first time. They're caused mostly by efavirenz (Sustiva), one of the three drugs included in Atripla. Expect some "hangover" effects if you get less than about six hours of sleep.
