Advice & Tips: Methadone is used for pain management, most people think its only used for heroin addicts, that's not true. It worked much better when taken in a wafer form or a liquid form. Now you can only get it as a 10mg. tablet unless you go to a Methadone clinic. That's ridiculous. It's because people I guess can shoot it up in those other forms that won't let pain managgement patients have it, but they give it to addicts, REAL SMART!!!! I'm still using it, because of the good price!!!!!!

Advice & Tips: Methadone is a good pain management medication, even though most people only hear of methadone being used as a way of getting off of opiates or heroin. Also for someone who is low income, Methadone is the way to go.

Advice & Tips: I'm very Happy with Methadone because, earlier in treatment I was on and tried so many other meds. Nothing seemed to stay in system long enough, every few months I had to raise my dose. It got expensive, The more pills in my system would make the constipation and nausea worse. I've been on Methadone for 2yrs, I only had to raise my dose once in the beginning and now I'm thinking abt going up another 10mg a day.
