What is Budesonide?

Budesonide is a corticosteroid. Intranasal it is used for symptoms of seasonal or perennial rhinitis. Nebulizer or inhalation delivery is used for Maintenance and prophylactic treatment of asthma. The oral capsule is used to treat active Crohn's disease (CD) or to maintain remission of CD.
