Glaucoma is a disease in which the optic nerve is damaged, leading to irreversible loss of vision. Narrow or Closed Angle Glaucoma (NAG) is the second most common form of glaucoma. Acute attacks of eye pain occur due to sudden increases in eye pressure. Between attacks the eye pressure is normal.
