About Me
I'm an artist, living on disability. I was diagnosed as bipolar about 6 years ago, and we've been trying to get my meds right ever since. I have a wonderful professional support team, starting with a psychiatrist who's comfortable speaking directly with any and all of my other caregivers - a friend calls them my pit crew. My meds have kept my moods almost stable for the past several months now so I'm relatively content. I'm also a type 1 diabetic, and have been for thirty-odd years. From watching my type 2 friends, I've come to the conclusion that type 1 is much simpler to deal with.
