 About Me
I am 43 years old recently dx with CIS with the positive indicators in my spinal tap to likely convert to MS in the future. I watched my Mom struggle with MS for over 25 years progressing to wheelchair bound in <5 years from diagnosis. She spent her last 15-16 years in a nursing home, because we were unable to care for her properly at home. She passed away in Jan 2007 because of a severe pneumonia. This is my worst nightmare that this will happen to me. I hope that with the latest developements in treatment I can maintain a happy and fullfilling life with my significant other Kevin.
