When I was 51 a had optic neuritis, because I was over 50 they told me that they couldn't diagnose me with MS. I have to wait for more lesions to show on my brain, they will do another MRI in August of 08. In May of 08 I had optic neuritis again. They dx. me with MS. I am going on copaxone, if I am approved for help with paying for it. We have 3 daughters and 2 grandsons. I have been very depressed and in alot of pain. Though the 1 neuro told me there isn't any pain with MS. I tried Betaseron, but was allergic to it, had hives all over.
