people tell me that I'm a nice guy and I think so as well. I njoy spending time with my family n friends. I don't hide my diagnosis from people that matter in my life, but at the same time I don't go shouting it either! I've lived in Wisconsin since 1974 and enjoy every minute of it except when it gets down to the minus temps in the winter time and considering that I was born in a tropical climate, I don't enjoy it when it gets really humid in the summer, which speaking of--where did this summer go, huh?? Hello there!
I'm currently working as a personal care worker with people with traumatic brain injuries or/and cognitive, delayed developmental issues.
I enjoy taking nice walks around the neighborhood as well as taking a nice hike on the trails.
I grew up with all the usual  things life offers such as Boy Scouting--did a lot of camping! went to an all boy catholic school for a year and being born in Central America I was raised Catholic. I'm not a practicing Catholic, but am spiritual in nature and will go to church for any occasion when I'm asked. I'm not choosy about that as long as it doesn't appear cult-like. Enough about that!
I was diagnosed in Dec of 1993 and have been zeropositive since then. I try hard to take care of my health and body. The only obstacles I've run into have been that I've had two severe reactions to two meds, which landed me in the hospital, but It's all good now!
I'm a U.S. Navy vet with four years of service and an honorable discharge. Those were some of the best four years of my life because I met some really great folk from all over this wonderful country of ours.
I'd like to think that I'm a pretty easygoing guy who appreciates what he has, but you be the judge.
Well, Enough about me for now. Sometimes I can be a chatter box with the right person and other times I'm like a plant. Lol
