Hi. I live near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am a substitute teacher and I love what I do, but I can only work afternoons now. Several of my symptoms started immediately after a head injury in Nvember /04 in the playground at recess, especially swallowing, choking, fatigue and balance. About a year later, while under severe stress, my walking problems started. Then one day while on the phone, my voice went "flat". Very scary. After confusing several specials, I searched the Net for a condition that matched my symptoms. I stumbled on PLS. Two neurologists now agree on that.
