- Although I've had MS for a long time, I was able to pretend I didn't until pretty recently. At this point I'm still working on my attitude, trying to see the glass half full instead of half empty... it's not always easy, particularly since I haven't been working since 2/08 and may need to give up a career I've loved. Luckily I have a wonderful husband and son who help me every step of the way. I'm a newbie when it comes to on-line communities, but I'm finding that PatientsLikeMe is a great place to learn!
