About Me I'm a specialist in English as a Second Language as a teacher, teacher-trainer, and writer/editor of textbooks. I'm married to a supportive, loving man. I have three stepchildren and nine step grandchildren. I was diagnosed in early 2007, but I suspect I had PD for at least ten years before that—strange gait, intermittent stiffness in shoulders and lower back, tremors in my right hand, a right leg that feels like it belongs to someone else, and miniscule handwriting. I’ve been working out diligently with a personal trainer and I feel stronger and more in shape notwithstanding the symptoms. |
