i awoke to my mom at the end of my bed at age 14 telling me i just had a seizure?? i didnt know what it even was til i tried to talk..my toungue was like hamberger meat. started on tegretol. when i became pregnant i wiched to phenobarb. thar worked well too. but as i got older i strted to have complex partial seizure..i knew what they were..was always consciense and could say"im having a seizure" but its embarrassing..now that i have started menopause..my condtion has gotten worse. I actually thought i had a brain tumor until i went to the ER..my new nuerologist told me about partial sezuire

now iam taking phenobarb, depakote, topamax, and clonazapam.  i have lost 25 lbs since Jan 2010.  and nothing seems to help around the time im supposed to have my menstral cycle.....so frustrating.
