I never had seizures until I had my drowning accident on February 20, 1988. That also happens to be my grandmother's birthday. not a very happy birthday that year. I have always loved swimming and was on my high school swim team until grades slipped, so I quit the team. But no one can explain the accident. it wasn't until about 6 months after I had my first seizure. This is where my seizures came from but my mother doesn't think so. I can't really remember anything from that day. But some things are starting to come back, only because I think I am going through perimenopause.
