Diagnosed 3/08 @ Johns Hopkins in Baltimore Maryland. Have been lucky to discover that anybody who served 90 consecutive days in the military is eligible for coverage under the GI Bill. They first gave me 33% disability (thats not much) Then they raised it to 100%(now thats good money) Now I get 100% plus aid & attendance (thats really good money) They also supply me with any equipment or anything else I need. If anyone has any questions about the Military payments let me know. I now have a V.A. nurse and a Hospice nurse that come in once or twice a month and am very comfortable.

On the other side of the coin there is the fun I used to have before all this happened.  As the name implies I used to ride a brand new 08 Ultra Classic Harley Davidson. I was lucky to have ridden all around before being diagnosed with ALS in 08. I put together a short Wish List and was able to travel to the Keys (8 day trip) and then to Sturgis S.D. after having the bike triked. Now my Harley is my power wheelchair. But what a good time I had while I was able!!!
