Hi! I'm a 50yr young woman in Northern CA, near Sacramento. I suffer from chronic pain due to a failed neck surgery in 2003. Haven't rec'd an official diagnosis of FM/CFS but have the symptoms of both conditions! It's been a long haul since 2003, with 3 surgeries in 2004, and another cervical fusion C4-C7 in 2007. I fight depression and anxiety, and the familial complacency. They've been waiting for me to get better for 7 years, and it's not happening. BUT I haven't given up, and I won't! 3/22 Additional diagnosis: Autoimmune hypothyroidism! After reading many threads, I'm not surprised.

I'm not surprised to have hypothyr.  I had it a year ago and was taken off meds when the MD couldn't stabilize the meds.  Of course, my health went into the dumpster again, only better when put back on medication.
