I received my first liver xplant on 12/25/94 and my second xplant on 1/09/95. About a week ago, my name was added to the kidney xplant list and I have been doing dialysis for about 2 months. In 1990, I was misdiagnosed with Osteoarthritis and given a drug call Voltaren. It took 50% of my kidneys. When I was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, my husband and I were surprised that I had lost all that kidney function. After the two xplants, my kidney function went down to 25%. It is now about 10-15%. And now I am on the xplant list.
