Luckiest Man Alive.
These were the famous words spoken by Lou Gehrig during his farewell speech. I am starting to realize what these words mean. How can someone diagnosed with ALS, consider himself lucky? Because of the family and friends that love and support him through this ordeal. Because, thankfully, the ALS is progressing slow. Because I have had such a full life and so few regrets. Because I have the greatest wife and daughter. Because I can still do many things and have good healthcare. Because of all the people that are praying for me. Because God loves me.
