About Me
Retired teacher just diagnosed in July 2007. I live alone(partner died in 2000) so have to make sure I reach out. My friends and family are wonderful but I still get feeling blue some days. I use a walker full time now. My legs, left hand and some days speech,are weak. My plan is to try and stay busy and do the things I love. With the help of my ALS Clinic in Vancouver, my close friends and siblings, and care workers, I hope to remain in my apartment forever. Thanks to all of you who share your stories, worries and joys. You are all amazing people.
